About Me

I am a high school junior living in Chicago. My favorite subjects are math and science. My hobbies include running with my cross country team, playing violin, and painting.

Research Experience

Meeting with my mentor helped me a lot in determining a specific, relevant, and interesting topic! Besides having meetings with my mentor, it was sometimes difficult to have self discipline without strict deadlines. I definitely continued to enjoy discussing with my mentor and discovering new resources with her! However, it also still became difficult to stay on top of my tasks without firm guidelines.

Mentorship Experience

I really enjoyed hearing both, the experience my mentor has had as well as her creative ideas. She did such a great job of providing good suggestions while also teaching me about new subjects and resources. I also really appreciated how she connected me with a student of hers for the purpose of my project! In fact, my favorite part of the entire experience was being paired with such a qualified and talented mentor that had been found based on my interests!
