About Me

I feel much more confident that I will be able to receive support if I ever want to conduct research in the future. Especially with this new research writing experience, I will definitely feel more comfortable engaging in research later down the line.

Research Experience

I was a bit nervous since I had a very hard time finding meeting times that fit both my mentor and myself due to our very different timezones. Luckily, we did end up figuring it out, and once I got to know him, I realized just how much I could learn with his guidance. I became more certain that with my mentor's guidance, I could write a good research paper despite the topic of the research being foreign to me. I realized that in my field of interest, there are many pathways I could o in.

Mentorship Experience

Despite our time zone difference, he was always willing to work with me. He helped me with a research topic that I knew nothing about but at the same time felt very intrigued by. At the end, I felt like I had learned a lot.

Favorite Part of Talaria

I loved the Talaria Discord activities. Despite not being able to attend some of them, the ones that I did attend, I did not regret attending. Everybody was very nice and helpful with answering questions.

Who I Recommend Talaria For

Truly, anybody who wants to learn something new and who is ambitious and willing to put in the work.

Advice for Future Applicants

Don't worry too much about it. As long as you keep in touch with your mentor, the whole process should run smoothly.
