About Me

I'm Taylor, and I live in Minnesota, USA. I use they/she pronouns. I am interested in biology and chemistry, as well as medicine. A big passion of mine is reproductive health. Outside of stem I am interested in volunteerism and leadership, as well as classic literature. I have one brother and two adorable golden retrievers.

Research Experience

Admittedly, I was very overwhelmed in the first two weeks, I was struggling to decide on a topic and knew that I had a lot of work to complete. After meeting my mentor, I was extremely excited to get started. It was a lot of work, but definitely worth the time! Overall, I loved gaining valuable research experience and working under someone with extensive research experience. The experience definitely solidified that I want to research and focus on reproductive health in my future medical career!

Mentorship Experience

My mentor was amazing. She gave me constructive criticism on my paper and was genuinely invested in my research.

Community Experience

It was amazing being around a lot of fellow motivated students. Everyone was helpful and provided great opportunities for me.
