About Me

I am definitely more comfortable with doing research on my own, as I have learned many new techniques along my journey with Talaria. I am more confident in my ability to work in STEM in the future.

Research Experience

Going into my project in the first 1-2 weeks, I felt uneasy and was doubtful that I had enough background knowledge to be able to work on such a seemingly intense project. As the program went on, I became more interested in my project and more confident in my ability to conduct research with my mentor. Talaria made me realize my deep interest in science research and make me more comfortable with going into a career in STEM in the future.

Mentorship Experience

Working with my mentor was such a wonderful and rewarding experience. My mentor helped me so much as I went into Talaria with little to no prior knowledge on my project. With our weekly meetings, he took the time and effort to explain concepts to me and pave the way for our Talaria project.

Favorite Part of Talaria

I loved conducting the actual research for my project with my mentor. I had so much fun working with my data.

Who I Recommend Talaria For

Talaria is great for anyone who is driven, motivated, and has a genuine interest in science. It is also a great experience if you want to get a feel for which areas in STEM you are most interested in.
